Morden Tower
A thirteenth century square-circle, Morden Tower is rumoured to be the oldest poetry venue in the country. Poets who have read there include Allen Ginsberg, Seamus Heaney, Ted Hughes, William Carlos Williams, Angela Carter, Basil Bunting & many others.
